Hello!
Today, I want to take a moment to celebrate a fantastic achievement. I once again took part in the Huawei ICT Competition and I am incredibly proud to share that my team secured 2nd place! Specifically, we competed in the highly demanding Network Track.
I teamed up with two brilliant friends from my university. Together, we competed under the very fitting name: PVID Mismatch. We knew the competition would be fierce. Therefore, we dedicated countless hours to mastering Datacom, security protocols, and complex WLAN configurations.
The Huawei ICT Competition Experience
Unlike previous year, there was no international trip for us this time around. However, the experience was still rewarding. We faced a difficult lab exam and rigorous theoretical tests under strict time constraints.
Despite the heavy pressure, we managed to secure a solid 2nd place finish in our track. As a reward for my hard work, I won a pair of Huawei FreeBuds Pro! They serve me as a great daily reminder of our team’s dedication. If you want to learn about the competition’s scope, visit Huawei’s ICT Competition portal.
Looking Forward
Competing as Team PVID Mismatch was an unforgettable learning experience. We learned how to communicate effectively during a high-stress scenario with a deadline. Additionally, we vastly improved our practical networking skills.
I want to thank my amazing teammates for their hard work. I also want to thank our university mentors for their continuous support. You can read about my previous year achievement in the competition under this link.
Even though we did not pack our bags for an international flight, walking away with 2nd place and some nice tech gear feels like a massive win. Thank you all for reading!
