Breaking Invisible Walls: Team aetherLabs Wins 1st Place at the Huawei ICT Competition Europe!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that my team aetherLabs has secured 1st place at the European Regional Stage of the Huawei ICT Competition 2025/2026! Representing the Poznań University of Technology in the Innovation Track, I have poured countless late nights into a project designed to change lives, together with my team members—Weronika Strzyżewska and Magdalena Błaszkowska.

The Problem: Invisible Walls

For millions of people, the world is full of invisible walls. Everyday tasks that many consider trivial—like reading a housing notice, filling out an employment application, or understanding a letter from the bank—can become impossible hurdles due to dense “legalese” and abstract grammar. For individuals with Aphasia, Deep Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, or Moderate Intellectual Disabilities, these bureaucratic barriers can severely restrict personal independence.

The Solution: CogniBridge

Enter CogniBridge, our award-winning AI-powered text simplification engine. CogniBridge acts as a real-time translator between bureaucratic complexity and plain, accessible language.

With a seamless AR interface and Text-to-Speech (TTS) that highlights sentences in bright yellow as they are read aloud, CogniBridge eliminates cognitive overload and puts the user in total control of the pace.
